Should Your Organization Be Ambidextrous?
Ask most provider organization management teams if their organization can “innovate” and their answer is usually affirmative. However, I would argue that most of those organizations are creative and have good ideas but they don’t meet the standard for “innovation.” Because innovation isn’t just about having the next great idea. It’s about creating an environment that generates ideas for new services that increase value for customers; taking ideas to scale; and making them financially viable (see Innovation For Survival).
