Position Summary: 
Work with those who have developmental disabilities in hopes of helping them reach their full potentials, according to Clinical Therapy Services (social work). Proven social work methods include behavior assessments and therapy across many environments, personal care, community integration and relationship development intervention. Reduce maladaptive behaviors to the point where they are extinct to allow room for lifelong skills. Position requires non-traditional business hours (nights, weekends and some holidays).
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members, school personnel and family members to help develop school, home and community behavioral intervention plans for emotionally behavioral challenged students.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise social service behavioral intervention plans.
  • Conduct home visits for the purpose of social service coordination, behavioral compliance, family engagement, community resource coordination, student support and all other purposes designated by Lead Counselor.
  • Participate in and provide all information for Individualized Education Plan Meetings, Family Treatment Plan Meetings, Behavioral Manifestation Hearings, DJJ Hearings and all other student specific meetings.
  • Mentor and provide appropriate modeling of behavior for specific students.
  • Provide crisis counseling and intervention when needed at school, home and in the community.
  • Complete all Clinical Service Notes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide all information and documentation needed for Medicaid billing in an accurate and timely manner according to Department of Health and Human Service standards.
  • Participate in identified in-service trainings.
  • Participate in all individual and group clinical supervision sessions.
  • Participate in client chart maintenance and client chart audits.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related Behavioral Health field from an accredited institution for higher learning.  Preferred LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT or Licensed PhD Psychologist.
  • Valid Texas Medicaid Number.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
  • Pass current, applicable clearances.
  • Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
