Reporting to the CEO of a nonprofit agency of 850 employees serving children and adults with special needs, the Vice President of Human Resources will plan, organize and manage the overall Human Resources functions that include talent acquisition and workforce management, employment, employee relations, learning and development, risk management, safety and security, and Human Resources procedures and practices. Prerequisites include: a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in a leadership position in Human Resources; broad knowledge of employment, compensation, talent acquisition, organizational planning, employee relations, and learning and organizational development; strong management skills-principles and people; experience working with in a multi-site organization; extensive working knowledge/experience of federal and state employment laws and labor relations; strong managerial, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation skills.
