OPEN MINDS is expanding! We are a growing market intelligence firm focused on helping those who serve complex consumers in the health and human services industry, and due to our growth, we are adding a Talent Manager to our team.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys interaction, providing support to others, and possesses exceptional organizational skills.  Proficiency with computer applications and a demonstration of superior written and verbal communication are also of upmost importance to this position.

Key responsibilities for the position include:

  • Recruitment – track all open positions, advertising, screening calls, 1st/2nd interviews, reference checks
  • Orientation planning, scheduling, and leading the onboarding process (for employees and contractors)
  • Create and manage mentor program for new employees
  • Maintain a current organizational chart, staff directory, and ‘team’ section of website; including drafting new bios
  • Lead and coordinate designated meetings, including an all-team meeting and certain recurring departmental meetings
  • Create and manage professional growth plans for junior staff to include regularly scheduled meetings with consulting team members
  • Maintain relationships with advisory board members, including quarterly communication and participation at Advisory Board meetings at OPEN MINDS’ hosted institutes
  • Manage internship program
  • Plan and lead other retention and team building activities
  • Assist with other Human Resource tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Outgoing interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of people across all areas of the organization and within current and prospective team members
  • The ability to work as part of a team, and independently while managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent management, or a related field
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Works out of our office located in Gettysburg, PA
