Tennessee Awaits Federal Approval For A $27 Million Program To Provide Home Care Services For Elderly And Disabled

Tennessee is waiting to receive federal approval that would combine $10 million from the state and $17 million from the federal government to provide home care services for both the elderly and disabled in the state. It would provide services for an estimated 2,700 people eligible for nursing facility placement and Medicaid under the nursing facility rules.
