A recent survey, of the 127 member-companies of the Washington Business Group on Health found that only 56% of respondents thought that mental health coverage should be among the components of a minimum health care plan mandated by the federal or state governments. Fifty-five percent of the respondents thought that chemical dependency treatment should be included in a minimum benefit plan. Of the 127 members surveyed, 87 responded.
