The newly-formed Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) has appointed a new board and will begin to accredit managed care programs as early as July of 1991. According to Roger Taylor, M.D., URAC s president, the new fifteen-member board is essential to fulfilling the organizations mission.
