A recent survey of callers to the 800-COCAINE hotline revealed that a high percentage of callers experienced severe, mental and physical problems. The survey, which was published in the November, 1988 issue of Alcohol And Drug Abuse Pulse Beats, found that a high percentage of callers reported depression (35%), anxiety (51%), and paranoia (10%). 12% reported having cocaine seizures and 20% of females reported using cocaine during pregnancy.
