The State of Vermont has selected American Biodyne, Inc., based in South San Francisco, to manage the behavioral health benefits of its employees and retirees. The plan will cover 15,000 to 17,000 beneficiaries, starting in September of 1991. Biodyne will provide both utilization review and a PPO for us," said Gary Schadle, Vermonts Employee Benefits Chief. If beneficiaries use the PPO, there is no deductible or copayment. For services outside of the PPO, the deductible applies . . .
