In October 2005, the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) began a three-year plan to reform its Mental Health Services. According to Michael F. Hogan, director of ODMH and the head of President Bush's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health, mental health service reforms are about helping people to find a home, a job, and a life in the communities.
