A Georgia Court Of Appeals reinstated a $13 million verdict against Ridgeview Institute of Smyrna, Georgia according to a report in the August issue of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Pulse Beats. Ridgeview, a psychiatric hospital, was held responsible for the suicide of a New York doctor. The original verdict was thrown out by a judge who presided at the jury trial on grounds that suicide was a voluntary act and hospitals were not liable for such an action. Evidence . . .
