Drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities were worth an estimated $7.7 billion in the United States in 2000, up 7.4 percent per year from the $6.8 billion estimated in 1998. This was the finding of a report by Marketdata Enterprises, Inc., The Drug & Alcohol Treatment Centers Industry, released in October 2000.
