Stress Management Industry Predicted To Be $15 Billion Business In 10 Years

In an interview with The New York Times Ted Barish, an executive who developed marketing programs for Weight Watchers and Pritikin, predicted that stress could be a $15 billion industry in the next ten years. Barish started a stress management company, StressCare, three years ago and hopes to capitalize on the growing interest in stress management. Mr. Barish's comments and the burgeoning stress management industry were discussed in the June issue of Employee Assistance.
