SBA Launches New Drug-Free Workplace Program for Small Businesses

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) recently announced the recipients of 30 grants and contracts to help small businesses deal with substance and alcohol abuse in the workplace. The SBAs new "Drug-Free Workplace Demonstration Program" will distribute $4 million to intermediaries such as drug-testing firms and employee assistance programs, and SBA Small Business Development Centers to help small businesses implement drug-free workplace programs.
