Several reports by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) of the US Department of Human Services (HHS) released late last year, allege that three south Florida hospitals took in a total of nearly $2 million in payments for services that did not meet Medicare eligibility and reimbursement standards for partial hospitalization programs (PHP).
