NHS Human Services to Merge with Allegheny Valley School in Pennsylvania

On February 18, 2008, NHS Human Services announced plans to merge with Allegheny Valley School (AVS), a provider of community residential services and therapeutic programs for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The merger is expected to close by May 31, 2008. All AVS management staff, including senior executive staff will remain in place in their current positions.
