Bucks County Renews $179 Million Contract With Magellan Behavioral Health

On January 7, 2010, Pennsylvania’s Bucks County Board of Commissioners approved the three-year contract renewal between Bucks County (Bucks) and Magellan Behavioral Health (Magellan) of Pennsylvania, naming Magellan as the overseer of behavioral health services for the duration of the contract. The contract, valued at about $179.6 million, was effective as of January 1, 2010.
