Washington State Insurance Commissioner Releases Report on Integration of Complementary, Alternative Medicine in Managed Care
Washington State Insurance Commissioner Deborah Senn has released a new report on the Washington state law that lets consumers, not their insurance carriers, decide what type of health care providers they want to treat them. The "Every Category Law," which stipulates that every category, or type, of licensed provider is reimbursable by health insurance in Washington, was originally passed in 1993 and took effect in 1996.
