Study Finds 2.3 Million Adolescents Needlessly Uninsured
A new study indicates that of the 3.7 million American adolescents who are uninsured, more than 2.3 million are eligible for, but not enrolled in, Medicaid or the State Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The study, Adolescents in Public Health Insurance Programs: Medicaid and CHIP, was released March 15, 2000 by the Center for Adolescent Health & the Law.
