Shockley Named to Oversee Nursing Home Regulation

On April 12, 2000 the Arkansas Department of Human Services named Carol Shockley director of the Office of Long Term Care (OLTC). The office is responsible for the inspection and regulation of more than 250 Arkansas nursing homes. Ms. Shockley had served as an assistant chief program administrator in the OLTC since December of 1998. Prior to that, Ms. Shockley was an assistant superintendent at the Conway Human Development Center operated by the Department of Human Services.
