PMR Corporation To Merge With Psychiatric Solutions

On May 6, 2002 PMR Corporation stated it had reached a definitive merger agreement with privately held Psychiatric Solutions Inc. (PSI) in a stock-for-stock merger. Upon completion of the deal, PSI shareholders will own about 72 percent and PMR shareholders will own about 28 percent of the merged company.
