York County Considering Proposal to Outsource Youth Development Center Shelter Services

On July 28, 2008, the Childrens Home of York (CHOY) presented the York County, Pennsylvania, Commissioners with a proposal to provide youth shelter services for the county at an estimated savings of about $1.3 million per year. Currently, shelter services are provided through 12 beds at the countys Youth Development Center (YDC).
