Cornell Companies Names Thomas R. Jenkins Jr. President

On September 18, 2002 Cornell Companies Inc., a provider of privatized adult and juvenile correctional, treatment and educational services, announced it has named Thomas R. Jenkins Jr. its new president. Jenkins, who has been serving as senior vice president and chief operating officer, will also continue with those responsibilities. He replaces Steve Logan, who has resigned to pursue other business interests.
