Corporate Compliance: Are We Really Up To Speed?

Does your organization have a corporate health care compliance program? According to a recent informal survey of hundreds of provider organizations by OPEN MINDS, many do not. The reason? Many behavioral health and social services organizations believe that corporate compliance does not apply to them. This is a major misconception that has serious implications for provider organizations. Any provider or managed care organization that deals with federally funded health care programs (such as Medicare and Medicaid) should have a formal health care compliance program.
