Magellan Wins $10 Million EAP/Behavioral Health Contract With Maricopa County, Arizona

The Maricopa County, Arizona government has awarded a $10.5 million, five-year contract for behavioral health and employee assistance program (EAP) services to Magellan Behavioral Health, Inc. Magellan is the county’s current contractor for these services; the new contract begins July 1, 2013 and runs through June 30, 2018, followed by an optional five-year renewal period. Magellan will be the county’s administrative services organization (ASO) for behavioral health benefits; Magellan is at-risk for the EAP services.
