34% Of COVID-19 Consumers Diagnosed With Neurological Or Psychological Conditions Within Six Months Of Infection
About 33.6% of 236,379 people diagnosed with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were later diagnosed with a neurological or psychological condition within six months of COVID-19 infection. For about 12.8% of individuals diagnosed with COVID-19, this was a first diagnosis of a neurological or psychological disorder. The risk of subsequent neurological or psychological diagnosis was highest among those who were admitted to an intensive treatment unit (ITU) for COVID-19.
