Mental Health Workforce Capacity Rose 30% Between 2017 & 2021
Between 2017 and 2020, mental health workforce capacity rose 30%, from 218.0 mental health professionals per 100,000 population in 2017 to 284.3 per 100,000 population in 2021. The 2021 numbers were a 6% increase from 2020 (268.6 per 100,000 population in 2020).
