Nearly 90% Of Physicians Were Using Telemedicine In 2021
Most U.S. physicians (87%) report using telemedicine in 2021, which is a significant increase from 15% in 2018. Three-fourths of those physicians report being satisfied with telemedicine as a method of interacting with their health care consumers. The COVID-19 pandemic was cited as the main reason for the increase in telemedicine usage, though 80% of physicians plan to continue using telemedicine moving forward.
