Premier Subsidiary To Pay Nearly $180 Million For 900,000+ Provider Organization Contracts

On September 6, 2022, Contigo Health, LLC, a subsidiary of Premier, Inc., agreed to purchase provider organization contracts and other assets from TRPN Direct Pay Inc., and Devon Health, Inc., for $177.5 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of fiscal 2023.

The acquired assets will include TRPN’s contracts with more than 900,000 provider organizations across 4.1 million U.S. locations. Under the terms of the agreement, Contigo Health also will license TRPN’s proprietary cost containment technology.
