ValueOptions Launches Electronic Assessment Tool For Integrated Care Delivery
On September 8, 2014, ValueOptions launched a free electronic version of the Integrated Practice Assessment Tool (IPAT©) to help health care provider organizations determine their level of behavioral health/physical health integration across multiple health care settings. The integrated care continuum has six levels: three main categories—coordinated, co-located, and integrated care—each with two stages, as established in April 2013 by the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions’ (CIHS) “Standard Framework for Levels of Integrated Healthcare.” The tool uses a decision tree model to help provider organizations and practices to quickly and objectively determine their current level . . .
