Pennsylvania Act No. 45 Of 2025

On November 12, 2025, the Pennsylvania Legislature published Act number 45 of 2025 regarding the finances of the State government. The new budget language permits previously allocated but uncommitted resources of the Nonnarcotic Medication Assisted Substance Abuse Treatment Pilot Program (focused on naltrexone) to be used for any U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved medication-assisted treatment when combined with comprehensive substance use disorder services for individuals with opioid or alcohol use disorders . . .
