Arkansas Medicaid Contract: Arkansas Works – January 1, 2019

Arkansas has two managed care programs that serve different populations:

PASSE (Provider-Led Arkansas Shared Savings Entity) – Provides care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) and individuals with behavioral health conditions. Currently, the PASSEs receive a per member per month (PMPM) for care coordination. Starting March 2019, the PASSEs will receive a capitated rate for all member services.

Arkansas Works – The state’s non-traditional Medicaid expansion program that provides premium assistance to purchase insurance on the health insurance marketplace. It includes cost-sharing and work requirements.

This Arkansas Medicaid Contract is for Arkansas Works, signed January 1, 2019.
