On December 13, 2019, Ventura County, California’s Behavioral Health division (VCBH) released a request for interested parties to submit their qualifications and concept proposals to build supportive housing for homeless adults with mental illness who are 55 or older, with income at or below 30% of the area’s median income. The selected applicant will be required to conduct a feasibility study, and to partner with VCBH for future rounds of funding. Responses are due by February 22, 2020 and the County will select the winning applicant by March 16, 2020.
