On September 12, 2018, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), announced substantial new enforcement actions to reduce the sales and market of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) to minors. These actions include warning letters and fines to more than 1,300 retailers and five major manufacturers who had a role in perpetuating youth access to the popular JUUL products, and other e-cigarette products.
