Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment used since the 1960s to improve cognitive skills and language skills for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Drawing from the field of behavioral analysis, ABA uses positive reinforcement to modify behavior.
