$30 Million Veterans Home Heading To Virginia Beach

Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine of Virginia recently announced that a new $30 million center focusing on long-term care for veterans will be constructed in Virginia Beach. Additionally, another veterans home—projected at a cost of $31 million—will be built in Vint Hill.

Funding for the projects comes through a $685 million package for state veterans homes recently passed by Congress. The new homes will be joined by the Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center, a 128-bed veterans home project that began last November.
