Addiction Policy Forum Launches Statewide Resource To Address The Addiction Crisis In Rhode Island
Non-profit organization Addiction Policy Forum recently announced the launch of its statewide resource to address the addiction crisis in Rhode Island. Specifically, the organization is expanding its Addiction Resource Center (ARC) to begin including treatment resources and facilities that specifically serve Rhode Island.
The additional services come at a much needed time, as 326 Rhode Islanders died from drug overdose in 2016. The ARC offers several resources to aid those suffering from addiction disorder, including a website that educates individuals on addiction disorder and grants access to resources; as well as a resource line staffed by various clinical professionals . . .
