AHN’s ‘Home Recovery Care’ Program Expands To Include Original Medicare Consumers

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is expanding its Home Recovery Care (HRC) program to include the region’s fee-for-service (FFS) Medicare beneficiaries. Via the HRC expansion, following an emergency department visit beneficiaries recovering from a wide range of acute medical conditions will receive advanced treatment at home. For the last year, AHN’s HRC team has been providing at-home hospital care to Highmark Health’s Medicare Advantage plan beneficiaries, as well as to certain non-Medicare consumers who receive coverage through Highmark Inc.’s commercial health plans.
