Amedisys Closes On Acquisition Of Compassionate Care Hospice

Independent home health, hospice, and personal care provider organization Amedisys, Inc. (Amedisys) recently announced it has closed its acquisition of Compassionate Care Hospice. Compassionate Care Hospice provides proactive palliative care that enables health care consumers with terminal illness to continue an alert, pain-free life.

The $340 million transaction will allow Amedisys to expand its hospice footprint, care for more health care consumers, and continue its mission of providing best-in-class care.
