Baptist Memorial Health Care & Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Initiate Merger Steps

Arkansas Methodist Medical Center (AMMC) in Paragould, Arkansas, and Baptist Memorial Health Care in;Memphis, Tennessee,;signed a non-binding letter of intent to complete a shared mission agreement as a first step toward merging the two organizations. Baptist Memorial and;AMMC are in the early phase of discussions and expect to finalize an agreement by early 2026. The agreement will specify how the organizations will work together and what they will share.
