Behavioral Health Systems Baltimore Partners With Gaudenzia, Inc. To Open New Opioid Crisis Service Unit
Behavioral Health System Baltimore (BHSB) has partnered with Gaudenzia, Inc. to open a new opioid crisis service unit. The eligible population for services is adults (ages 18 and above) who have an opioid use disorder and are in need of crisis services. Referrals can originate from health care clinical professionals, emergency personnel, community organizations, and walk-ins.
The crisis services will include:
Urgent/Walk-in screening and referral 24 hours a day at the Gaudenzia, Park Heights location.
Comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to determine treatment needs and appropriate ASAM level of care.
Inpatient stay for up to 96 hours with referral . . .
