California To Invest $12 Million To Support Youth Addiction Prevention, Treatment & Recovery Services
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) opened an application process to distribute $12 million in grants through the California Youth Opioid Response program. The grants are available to non-profit organizations, schools, and other groups, including for-profit businesses, Tribal authorities, and state or local government agencies. Grants of $50,000 to $500,000 are available to support addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery services to reduce opioid use disorder or stimulant use disorder among youth and young adults ages 12 to 24.
