Cancer Centers Launch Cancer AI Alliance To Transform Care Using Data & AI
A new organization called the Cancer AI Alliance (CAIA) aims to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to data from participating cancer centers to unlock insights toward identifying more ways to improve cancer research and care. CAIA will be supported by more than $40 million in funding.;;
The participating cancer centers include: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins. AI technology leaders AWS, Deloitte, Microsoft and NVIDIA are providing funding, as well as AI technology and expertise.; . . .
