CareMount Medical Is Part Of Optum Care

CareMount Medical, a physician-owned practice in New York, has become part of Optum Care. Through this arrangement, Optum, through its management organizations, provides non-clinical administrative services to support the practice and its physicians. Scott Hayworth, M.D., CareMount’s former chief executive officer is now president of Optum Tri-State.

CareMount has more than 650 primary care doctors, specialists, and advanced practice clinicians. The organization serves consumers throughout New York City, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Columbia, and Ulster counties.
