Community Health Systems To Sell Three Pennsylvania Hospitals To WoodBridge Healthcare
Tennessee-based health system operator Community Health Systems reached an agreement to sell Commonwealth Health in Pennsylvania to affiliates of WoodBridge Healthcare. The sale is valued at $120 million, inclusive of a $10 million prepayment agreement. ;
The sale includes;Regional Hospital of Scranton, Moses Taylor Hospital;in;Scranton, and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital;in;Wilkes-Barre, and certain related businesses. Regional Hospital has 186 beds, Moses Taylor has 122, and Wilkes-Barre has 369. ;
