Compunnel Acquires Boston-Based Health Care Staffing Firm

Business technology services and staffing provider organization Compunnel Software Group Inc. (Compunnel) recently acquired Boston, Massachusetts-based organization Alternative Solutions Inc. (Alternative). The financial terms of the purchase—which officially closed January 18—have not been disclosed.

Alternative provides medical and non-medical staffing services to medical industries. The transaction will result in Alternative’s offerings being merged with Compunnel Healthcare, the independent health care staffing unit arm of Compunnel. Additionally, Alternative president Keith Alter will become the chief operating officer of Compunnel.
