Wellmore & The Village For Families & Children Announce Planned Merger

Wellmore and The Village for Families & Children, two Connecticut-based behavioral health organizations, announced plans to merge operations. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Together, the organizations employ nearly 1,000 staff and serve approximately 30,000 families annually across 100 municipalities in Connecticut.

Both organizations provide behavioral health and family support services, including:

School readiness and early childhood education

Home-based counseling and caregiver support

Substance use prevention and recovery services

Crisis services, including urgent crisis centers and mobile crisis programs for youth
