Easterseals Of Southern California Receives $1 Million In Funding To Expand Outpatient Severe Behavior Services
Easterseals of Southern California (ESSC) received $1 million in state funding for an expansion of its outpatient Severe Behavior Services Program for people with autism and other developmental disabilities who display impulsive, aggressive, or violent behaviors. ESSC is using the funding to launch a $6-7 million fundraising effort with the goal of doubling the size of the program at a new Orange County facility.
ESSC provides services for more than 15,000 people with disabilities in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura counties. It serves more than 13,000 people diagnosed with autism . . .
