Elevance Health To Acquire Granular Insurance Company From Verily
Elevance Health plans to acquire Granular Insurance Company, a stop-loss insurer, from Verily, a health care and life sciences company that is part of Google’s parent company Alphabet. Since 2020, Granular Insurance Company has offered medical stop-loss, reinsurance, and fronting products. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
