Express Scripts Announces New Medicare Part D Saver Plan For 2018

Express Scripts recently introduced a new Express Scripts Medicare® Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) called the Saver plan for 2018. It is a low-premium Part D plan that will provide affordable access to almost 3,000 commonly used medications.

The Saver plan offers a premium of $22.60 per month, which is less than $1 per day, and a $0 deductible on tier 1. On tier 1, copays are $1 and on tier 2 they are $4 for generic medications when filled out at a CVS or Kroger Pharmacy. For a 90-day supply of tier 1 or 2 medications . . .
